Agenda

The event will consist of a keynote presentation by National Geographic Explorer and Photographer Rubén Salgado Escudero, showcasing his remarkable photographs and sharing the stories and experiences behind them. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the visual narratives and gain insights into the art of visual storytelling. This will be followed by an interactive sessions and activities designed to encourage participants to express their thoughts and share their stories in English

Rubén Salgado Escudero
National Geographic
Explorer and Photographer

Rubén is a National Geographic Explorer and award-winning photographer who has spent the last decade documenting stories of the human condition. Rubén was born in Madrid, Spain. Over the years he has worked on multiple stories for National Geographic magazine, and additionally works frequently for relief organizations such as the United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR and NGOs worldwide. His work across different stories and projects have been exhibited in galleries and museums in more than 40 cities. He is a member of The Photo Society, a community of National Geographic Magazine photographers.

Salgado's work and travels have taken him to over 60 countries. Speaking four languages, he loves to share knowledge and create meaningful exchanges wherever he works, fostering a deeper understanding of different cultures and ways of life, and a passion for sociocultural issues.

This is a free event for all university students across Vietnam.
